FREGINALS, TARRAGONA, BED AND BREAKFAST DETACHED COUNTRY HOUSE
The house is located a few minutes easy drive from the peaceful Catalan village of Freginals. The property is overlooked by the beautiful Montsia Mountains, but very close to the Ebro Delta and Mediterranean. Famous for its fishing and bird watching. The spacious three bed country house is within its own finca with fully maintained gardens with patios and has superb views of the Sierra de Montsia natural park. Amposta is 10 minutes away, beaches and Ebro delta are 15 minutes away, - There is good access via quiet country lanes and a short track. The owners offer a get away from it all location for a short break or stop over. Parking for several cars. Visitors are offered a double or twin room, a spacious and comfortable living room and use of the outside lounge areas where the beautiful gardens and views can be experienced to the full. The house is heated with central heating and a large wood burning stove in the winter which make for perfect relaxation in the spacious and comfortable lounge.
Breakfast is a substantial continental breakfast with bread,/croissants, meats, cheeses, preserves and fruits
There are scenic walks for the active and a few miles away the there is the town of Amposta
Amposta At the southern end of the Costa Daurada is Amposta, one of the most traditional towns on the mouth of the river Ebro. Amposta has many medieval origins, such as the remains of its castle and famous bridge. There are many supermarkets, restaurants, bars and sports centres
With in easy access are many attractions including Knights Templar Castles, breath taking scenery in El Port natural park. The River Ebro (the longest river in Spain) and its Delta which are famous for rare birds (including flamingos) and huge catfish.
There are fabulous beaches on both the Costa Dorada and the Costa de Azahar (orange blossom coast) only 15 -25 minutes away
